To support the Highams Park and Chingford community who find themselves in food poverty due to the Covid-19 pandemic

by HPFoodHub in London, England, United Kingdom

Who are we?

Highams Park  Food Hub was started in April 2020 as a direct response to the Covid-19 pandemic

It is sponsored and managed jointly by All Saints Church – Highams Park, Hornbeam, Highams Park Covid 19 Volunteers and Waltham Forest Scouts.

What is the Hub?

The service supports people who are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic.

The Hub prepares food parcels which include fresh produce, tinned and dried food and household essentials.

What do we need?

Since the start of the pandemic, over 15,000 meals have been delivered to families in need in Highams Park and Chingford. As we move out of the lockdown, we are changing the service to a twice-a-week, food top-up collection service. To enable us to continue to support families in Highams Park and Chingford we need regular food and monetary donations to keep the service going.

Where will your money go?

If you are able to make a one-off or regular donation of just a few pounds a week, we would be extremely grateful.

Every penny of your donation will go directly to feeding local families in need.
