Horizon Film Festival 2025

Aim: To showcase and develop local filmmaker talent with the 3rd edition of this festival through low barriers to entry and mentorship programmes
The future of Horizon Film Festival hangs in the balance. Running a non-profit, free-to-enter film festival has come at great personal expense to ourselves. To make next year’s event possible, we need you to donate.
Your donation will allow us to once more hire a cinema, provide awards, and print programmes. If you’re reading this, it’s likely you’ve attended a previous Horizon festival, and know the incredible value it provides attendees by allowing them to connect with industry professionals.
In 2023, we had 159 attendees, 11 films screened, and 6 first-time filmmaker premieres. We know we’re already making a difference and want to continue. However, without your help, this may be the end.
