Supporting families facing some of the toughest moments of their lives.
by Georgiana Luncanu in Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Hi,
I’m Georgiana Luncanu, and on Sunday, the 4th of May, I’ll be running a half marathon in Motherwell. I was hoping you might consider sponsoring me.
I’m fundraising for the Romanian Community Centre, an incredible charity that has been a vital lifeline for families facing some of the toughest moments of their lives.
Over the years, this Centre has quietly stepped in where no one else could: supporting single mums without the essentials to care for their children, helping families rebuild after devastating house fires, standing by those who lost their jobs while caring for seriously ill loved ones, and making sure children have access to basics like desks, laptops, clothes, and food.
The Centre is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation who mainly supports not only families and individuals in urgent crises, but also in restoring dignity, hope and the stability people need to rebuild their lives.
Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly toward helping real families in real need. Every pound helps provide practical support whether that’s a hot meal, a winter coat, or a laptop for school.
Please consider sponsoring me, supporting this cause and helping us continue this vital work.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
God bless you!
