Homeless veterans
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

My father, who is 80 this year is a Korean war veteran and keen marathon runner. Running for homeless veterans

by CEPC in Oldham, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

Starting on June 1st,he will be running a marathon once a week for a month in Lancashire,Derbyshire,Yorkshire and Cheshire.

This will be covered by the Oldham Times and his progress will be logged on Social Media.

His aim is to raise funds to help the plight of homeless veterans who have been badly let down by the government.

He is a Korean war veteran and served with the 45th field regiment Royal Artillery, seeing action in the famous battle of Imjin River.

He served his country well, and is appalled that ex servicemen do not get the mental and physical help they need, and although this is a well known problem,he feels he can bring even more attention to this issue.

All funds raised will be forwarded to ex servicemen affiliated charities with proof given.
