High Springers UK Road Trip Fundraiser
It’s been an incredibly tough year for the world, there have been some really testing times. We continue to solider on and stay strong during hard times. There is now a large increase in families who are struggling financially due to the pandemic and as a result have had to cut back on their children’s activities and opportunities. We recognise that health and fitness and physical activity is an extremely important part of every child and adults wellbeing. High Springers not only provide trampoline and gymnastics classes, we provide 1:1 rebound therapy to those with special needs and mental health difficulties. We provide opportunities to our members that allow them to enjoy activities whilst keeping both bodies and mind strong and healthy.
We are fundraising to support families allow their children to continue accessing their weekly activities and to provide new opportunities to children who are unable to participate in their usual physical activities, sports or teams because of financial difficulty due to the pandemic.
We are also using our funds to provide new SEN rebound therapy, 1:1 private or small group sessions for those suffering with mental health difficulties and anyone with a disability.
Our aim is to support the local community by addressing the national sport and physical activity objectives to increase activity levels and by assisting to promote good mental health.
We will follow both our local government and Sport England’s guidance to meet the national aims and objectives.
We are a club that has been unable to run for most of the year due to the national pandemic. This has had a huge impact on our members and families and the club itself. To help us help those around us we ask for you as supporters to allow us to provide these classes and make a difference to people’s lives.
We have partnered up with Munkley Fitness to also take on our challenge. They will be assisting us with our fundraiser and helping us to reach our target with members participating in the road trip challenge, a prize draw and a community bake sale.
Thank you for taking the time to read I do hope that you are able to help support our fundraiser. We will be posting some updates below so keep an eye on our page
