We're still collecting donations
On the 5th March 2021 we'd raised £5,290 with 27 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We wish to offer discounted stays so that more people can look forward to a holiday in 2021 and so we can survive the current lockdown.

NC500Pods was started by Calum & Ali and opened to the public mid-2019. A fledgling business facing Covid-19 restrictions and loss of earnings, made 2020 an especially tough year for us. We'd also given away many free stays to charities and to help Thomas Cook customers who had lost their holidays before Covid struck, so we were not as finically strong as we could have been.
Here is one of our sites, based in Achmelvich Scotland. Many people look forward to their long-awaited holiday every year, NC500 Pods was a destination for these people to unwind and enjoy time for themselves, surrounded by the natural beauty that Scotland offers.
Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions that followed, the business has been slowed and halted on numerous occasions, preventing holiday goers from having time off, away from their hardworking lives.
Despite this, we've been able to survive and even won an award for best glamping site in Scotland. We thought we'd seen the worst of the restrictions, which sadly isn't the case. We now need your help to raise some income during these weeks of lockdown in return for a discounted holiday once restrictions ease.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.
