Who are We?
Herbivore is about the planet, about mother earth and how she nurtures us.
How she provides us with all that we have ever needed, shelter, nourishment, water and oxygen to breathe.
Herbivore inc. Strives to be a sustainable lifestyle brand that pays homage to the plants that mother earth provides us with. We differ by striving to provide apparel, wildlife and craft classes and audio-visual art experiences in nature all within 7 years of launch, in a staggered approach to allow different areas of the business to grow.
In everything Herbivore does we aim to give our customers and our community everything that plants and the earth does: Giving us joy, sustenance, refreshment and beauty.
Plants are abundant and have helped us in many mystical ways. They have fed us for as long as we have existed, they reduce CO2 whilst providing us with oxygen to breathe, they form the basis of the food chain, sustaining the most basic forms of life, so it is important that they take centre stage of our brand
We are sustainable in our production processes and only partner with those that align with this ethos.
We will pay homage to the herbs!
What is the vision?
At Herbivore, our garments are designed to pay homage to a specific plant or herb, in how it looks, or in its material composition. In every homage, we will explore earthly knowledge and mythology. How plants have nourished humanity in times past and present, exploring folklore and crucially how we can best preserve these jewels for future generations
In our operating model for classes and art exhibitions we are supporting grassroots and local business/ artists this makes sure that everything is rooted in the community's local knowledge.
The price point reflects the love for community rather than profits.
We will in our modelling campaigns, future hiring strive for racial and gender diversity to reflect the community.
We will in later years of the business, be more engaged with activism, and policy suggestions, this guideline will be an effective tool in learning how to do it well.
The design of every piece of apparel will pay homage to the bounties that mother earth offers, whether this is a plant, animal or element.
We will use recycled, organic and scientifically acknowledged sustainable materials, avoiding polyester and non-biodegradable fabrics and we will not be a participant to the damage that the fashion industry contributes.
We will keep our prices honest, in line with my brand ethos, I hope to provide quality for in-exorbitant prices.

What do we offer?
We are designing modern 'folkware'.
At Herbivore our garments are designed to be practical, to be used in nature whether you're painting, gardening, foraging, or enjoying a long walk upon a prairie.
We use fine and luxurious materials, and very consciously and deeply ponder upon ways we can respect mother earth in our production process.
Always natural, always biodegradable, we will never use synthetic materials in our products and we will actively seek to campaign for the removal of abusive materials from the universe.
Our garments are always tough and always rugged and meant to be loved for a long time. Our garment's designs invoke luxury silhouettes impossible to find anywhere else and thoughtful and innovative ways in which to express your love for the outdoors.
In everything we do, we will pay homage to the Herbs!
We will, through the natural world delve into the Arts, using its bounty in activities such as classes foraging, wild swimming, wood whittling, basket weaving, pottery and activities using the Natural World to facilitate its enjoyment and to facilitate the use of our hands to drive us away from the call of technology and screens. We hope to reconnect with nature, and through reconnecting with nature, we hope to reconnect with ourselves.
In everything we do, we will pay homage to the Herbs!
Through Herbivore curated outdoor art installations, we hope to remind ourselves of the versatility of forests, and the diversity of humans that inhabit that planet.
When experiencing the beauty of art, within the beauty of nature, we will remind ourselves of their interconnectivity, the inseparability of these two features of the earth, and will seek to protect at all costs, the natural world which affords us this bounty.
Rhythm runs through all of our bodies, like a predestined inevitability. Our heartbeat serves as a metronome to our life, and with Herbivore music festivals, we will unite our lives of the natural world, with the gift of music. Curating cross genre line-ups, with mother nature at its heart,
our community, in everything we do, will pay homage to the Herbs!
Our USP
The designs are incredibly unique, and will allow them to stand out from what is being offered in the marketplace, but at a price that is relatively more accessible and Individuals will justify purchasing the item because: 1) it's a statement piece 2) It has good longevity 3) It's very well made 4) It's beautiful and tasteful.
The garments will where possible be made of organic and biomaterial, such as nettle fibres, mushroom leather, corozo buttons and other such materials, and I will try to reflect the design ethos i.e. paying homage to a specific plant, within the material that the garment is actually made of.
The classes will be run by local artists and local horticultural experts, bringing rural practises to more urban environments, furthermore, we have curated bespoke classes to make them more interesting and engaging for a younger demographic. These classes will be unique and diversify from the mainstream crafts being offered.
The complete focus is on design quality and individuality, and we are in the contemporary market, rather than the luxury market: Thus we will be solving the issue that many face of owning incredibly stylish products, without spending exorbitant amounts of disposable income. producing exclusively high-end silhouettes and products, but with a more accessible price point, that reflects the love for community rather than profits.
Herbivore is not just a clothing brand, but a lifestyle brand, that utilises the perfect mix between 'Cottage core' and 'cosy' clothing whilst tapping into urban elements and themes.
We physically incorporate interesting plant mythology and literature into our design in our garments, and our online assets such as our website, this presents a whole new aspect of Lore, that is not common in the market currently.
