I'm all for the welfare of animals and its evident that for them to be cared for correctly (at the HCS), during this tough time, every penny helps to make the difference between sufficient and insufficient care for the great collection of species they accommodate for.

I hope the animals and staff are all keeping well... We will be back to visit ASAP when you reopen.

We have loved the live feeds and information about the animals you care for. We can't wait to come and meet them all. You are doing an amazing job. Well done x

This conservation project is providing an excellent and vital role for the prevention of the extinction of a wide variety of animals. More so in these times where the welfare of animals are not prioritised. It is so important that they are given the support they need. Please give what you can.

Sorry it’s not more. I wasn’t aware of you but will make a point of visiting once we are back to ‘normality’.

I have visited Hemsley a few times with my three sons. Every visit has been educational with very dedicated staff taking time out of their day to interact with my sons and answering all their questions. My oldest is Autistic and my second is on the pathway for a diagnosis of Autism/ADHD and this has always been a safe place for them to go. My middle son was looking forward to his belated birthday gift of being a Junior Zoo Keeper for the day this month which has obviously had to be postponed until the Covid 19 situation eases. I know it's not much but I hope this helps just a little.
