Who are we?
Indian Blind and Para Judo Association are an 11 years old Judo Association, affiliated with the Paralympic Committee of India and the Indian Blind Sports Association.
We have been helping and working for the disabled male and female Judo Players of India. The disabled Judokas have so far participated in various international Championships, such as the Asian Para Games, Asian Grand Prix, Asian Grand Slam, World Championships, and Commonwealth Championships in the UK; and have won several medals on the international platform.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The proposed Blind and Para Judo Academy, will provide the much-needed sporting environment to the male and female Judo players, alongside expert training by a Japanese Coach, who has just been very kindly sent through the Japanese India Cultural Association to help these budding Judokas. A focussed thorough training, along with expert support at the academy will take the players to newer heights, and will help them realize their ambition of competing in the Paralympics in the future.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Your help in this endeavor is paramount and will be greatly appreciated.
Any and all contributions are welcome to realize our goals of setting up the academy with adequate facilities.
Your contributed funds will be used in the infrastructure development of the facility, buying handicapped-friendly exercise equipment, and boarding facilities of the para Judokas.
