Help Miley!

Aim: Miley is not very well. We need your help towards further vet bills and investigations to help this precious and treasured little lady.

Please Help Miley!

Miley our Severe Macaw is not very well. Those who know Miley, will know she is a sassy little madam, who is always full of life, and a little terror at the same time. She is free-flight trained, and loves to flock with her friends on free-flight days. Miley has all the personality of the big macaws in her little body, and we would be lost without her. 

For 2 years, Miley has brought together communities through her birthday parties; "The Big Parrot Fun Day". She has brought together people from the parrot community as well as anyone who simply fancied a fun day out. Now... It is time we are there for her! 

Despite already having been to a specialist, and having consultations, investigations, and treatment, this has unfortunately not worked. Miley is now needing to go back to the specialist, which is booked in for Monday 23rd June, and further consultations and examinations to try and find out what is wrong will be done. We are really worried about losing our precious baby girl, and we, alongside Miley would really appreciate any support you can give!

So far, to try and make sure Miley is safe and well, Vet Bills, Loss of Income, and Associated Costs have totalled over £1500, and this has now wiped out any savings, and reserve funds that Dale & Adam had for emergencies such as this. We have also exhausted family funds.  

We are asking for your help! We are asking you to help make sure our little girl can be her full healthy self again, and to make sure we can get Miley better. 

At this moment of time, we estimate further investigations totalling a further £800-£1000, however until we visit the specialist again on Monday 23rd June, we will not know. - If we raise over the stated target the additional funds will be used towards any additional treatment Miley requires, and any surplus funds will be donated to different Parrot related charities, once Miley is better. 

Unfortunately we were in the process of taking out new insurance on Miley when she fell ill. - Therefore unfortunately we do not have this option to fall back on.
