Aim: We are passionate about looking after the struggling and vulnerable people in our local community. Nobody should go without food.
Helping Hand Community was officially launched this year, but I have been serving my local community for the past three years. The food we provide goes directly to the homeless, shelters and parents who are struggling to feed their families during this time of rising costs. With agreements already in place with many supermarkets, we are able to provide a wide variety of food and drink. We work with fantastic organisations such as Stepway and Salvation Army who do a brilliant job in extending our reach. My vision is to continue to develop the Helping Hand Community project and build it into a truly community group where everyone can be involved and make a difference. All funds will be reinvested into the project, enabling us to hold events and set up mobile food banks in various areas.
