To raise funds to support me in gaining further coaching qualifications to enable horse riding to be more accessible.

Hi my name is Katie and I have a passion for horses and horse based therapy.

I work at Buchan Community Farm, which is a not for profit organisation, with the aim to assist and support individuals with additional needs and individuals seeking support with building confidence and independence. This is achieved through the development of life skills through working in a farm-like setting.

Horses are at the heart of the farm and they make fantastic therapy animals. We offer riding to those who attend the farm and this helps everyone in different ways both mentally and physically.

Being a good coach is fundamental to the work at the farm to instill confidence to current and future clients and their families.

I want to further my knowledge and abilities as a coach and part of that is in the form of qualifications.

Unfortunately as a not for profit we are struggling with the rising costs of everything and need just a little bit of help to cover the costs of my training and exams. Anything you are able to give is much appreciated and will be used to help the future of the farm and those who attend.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
