Helping a homeless person get back on their feet

Aim: I met a man living in the car park outside Aldi, I have spoken to him loads of times, Today he expressed to me people keep stealing from him

Ive spoken with this man a few times, he just wants to get back on his feet he has said that the shelters are not open from covid so he is relying on money people give him, people have thrown dog mess on all of his belongings, speaking with him this evening he had said that he has thought about given up, 

Ive brought him food a couple of times and this evening i cooked him a hot meal and he was so grateful, bless him 

I know i wont be able to change homelessness but if i can help this young man even if i can book him into some hotels just until he gets some money behind him to arrange more of a permanent accommodation.

He said he has had a job interview and he’s just waiting on a decision, If we as a community could help him with some more clothes and somewhere to keep clean he may get the job and get back onto his feet.
