We're still collecting donations
On the 13th May 2020 we'd raised £20 with 2 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Your help needed more than ever
As we watch the events of Coronavirus unfold I am in no doubt that the coming weeks and months are going to present us all with considerable challenges.
The unprecedented situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has, as with most charities, hit The Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST) very hard. Income streams expected from funded projects have been suspended until further notice. Furthermore the majority of supportive charitable Trusts and Foundations have suspended meetings to discuss the provision of donations. So, due to funding constraints, to protect our charity and its staff we have made the very difficult decision to close our office facilities and reduce our team to a skeleton staff,.
That is why, at Shropshire Youth Support Trust, we have reassured all of our clients, partners and supporters that we are still here to help. We moved very swiftly to adapt how we provide our support. We have put in place processes to assist those in need by moving our workshops, clinics and mentoring, that would usually be delivered from our centres, to now be delivered online to ensure they can still have access to our business and employability support programmes. I am proud to announce in the first four days of ‘lock down’ 4 we successfully delivered the following support:
However, as a charity we recognise that it’s not just our own clients who need support during this challenging time, that’s why we have decided to extend our support to the wider community in an effort to prevent poverty and unemployment. Therefore, anyone who has recently become unemployed, a small business, self-employed, entrepreneur or sole trader and needs advice and support or to try to make sense of things, they are welcome to contact us and join our ASYSTED Business community. We do, and will, continue to support them through this difficult time. We are also working alongside our partners to ensure all affected can get the best possible support.
At this time of national emergency and widespread worry, it is difficult to ask for your help. However, without it our Shropshire Youth Support Trust may not survive.
We don’t charge for services but we are a vital support for individuals who now face losing their business and therefore a loss of income. For some it will mean losing their home, struggling to pay bills and put food on the table for their families. Please will you donate to our Emergency Appeal to protect the Trust during this crisis?
Please stay safe and stay well.
Thank you
