Dear Friends,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for Simon Hopson. Whether you know Simon through work, school, or a long-standing friendship, one thing is certain: Simon has always been the type of person who would lend a hand to others in need.
Simon, a devoted husband and father, is only 46 years old. Earlier this year, he underwent open-heart surgery in April, and just a few months later, in July, he was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. He is now receiving end-of-life care at the Compton Hospice.
Despite these unimaginable challenges, Simon recently married Michelle, his partner of 29 years, in a heartfelt ceremony at the hospice. Together, they’ve built a loving family with their two daughters, Renae (17) and Ruby (12).
This devastating diagnosis has brought immense emotional and financial challenges to Simon and his family. We want to rally around them and offer our support to help ease their burden. The goal is to give them the chance to focus on cherishing precious moments together without the added stress of financial worries.
