Help Us Reunite: Fundraiser for £15,000 Visa and Legal Fees
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Compassionate Souls,
I am reaching out with a humble request for help to raise £15,000 for my fiancée’s visa and legal fees to reunite with me in the UK. Due to being on a low income, I am unable to cover these expenses alone, and the cost of the immigration process—visa fees, legal representation, and other necessary expenses—has become overwhelming.
This visa is our only hope of building a life together, and it will allow my fiancée to join me in the UK, so we can finally start our journey as a married couple. Unfortunately, these costs are far beyond what I can afford. This is why I am asking for the kindness of strangers, philanthropists, organizations, and generous individuals worldwide to help us in any way you can.
The Breakdown of Costs:
Visa Fees: A significant portion will go toward application and administrative costs for the UK visa.
Legal Representation: Immigration lawyers are essential to ensure that everything goes smoothly, but they come at a high price.
Other Associated Costs: This includes the healthcare surcharge and other miscellaneous fees related to the visa application.
This fundraiser means the world to us, as we are desperate to overcome this financial hurdle and begin the life we’ve dreamed of together. We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer, no matter how small. Your generosity will help bring us together and give us the chance to create a future full of love and hope.
If you’re a philanthropist, a lotto winner, or part of an organization that helps people in need, please consider supporting our cause. Together, we can turn our dream into a reality.
Help Me Bring My Fiancée to Safety in the UK
I’m from Scotland. I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to raise £15,000 to help cover the visa and legal fees needed to bring my fiancée to the UK, where we can finally start a new life together.
I am on a modest income, receiving state benefits, and sadly, I am unable to fund the immigration process on my own. My fiancée is facing an incredibly difficult and dangerous situation in her home country. She is enduring mental, emotional, and physical abuse from her mother, who is controlling her life in every way. To protect her safety, I cannot reveal too many details, but her situation has become unbearable, and she desperately needs to leave.
Her mother has taken her phone, restricted her access to her bank account, and even threatened to cancel her visa. She has no freedom and lives under constant surveillance and fear. Despite all this, she manages to hold onto her job, which gives her some stability, but the environment at home is toxic and detrimental to her mental health and well-being.
Her mother does not know about me, or about our relationship, as being gay is not accepted in her culture. We have kept our relationship secret, but now my fiancée is in a critical situation. She has sought the help of a counselor and a lawyer, but we need to act fast before her mother takes further action to ruin her life.
We are a same-sex couple deeply in love, and we plan to get married here in the UK. However, without financial support, it will take years for us to save up for her visa, plane tickets, and the necessary legal fees. Every day, I fear for her safety, and it breaks my heart that I can’t bring her to a safe and loving environment right away.
Our goal is £15,000, which covers the following:
- Visa and legal fees (fiancée visa, spouse visa, healthcare surcharge)
- Plane tickets to the UK
- Essential costs for a small wedding and setting up a new home together
I am currently exempt from the financial requirement for the visa due to my disability benefits, but we still need to cover all other costs involved in the immigration process.
This is a deeply personal and urgent appeal. My fiancée’s safety, mental health, and future are at stake. We are desperate to be together, to start a life free from fear, and to create a future filled with love and peace.
I know times are tough for many, and asking for help is never easy. But if you, or anyone you know, can offer support—whether you are a philanthropist, an organization, or simply someone who believes in helping others—please consider contributing to our cause. Every little bit will bring us closer to safety, love, and a new beginning.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Any support you can provide will be a lifeline.
With gratitude,
Althea
