Aim: Ambulanes and quad bikes for Ukrainian soldiers
Dear Friends,
My name is Alexandra Baker, and I am deeply honored to invite you to join us in a crucial fundraising effort to support Ukrainian soldiers by providing much needed ambulances and quad bikes. As a Polish citizen, the war in Ukraine is not just a distant event; it is happening right next door to my home. The presence of many Ukrainian refugees in Poland has brought the conflict even closer to my heart, and their stories of resilience and courage have inspired me to take action.
On September 7th 2024, Go the Distance (GTD), the charity/community interest company I am proudly a part of, is hosting a major fundraising event to continue our mission of supplying ambulances to the brave soldiers on the front lines. While we would love for everyone to attend, we understand that not everyone can be there in person. This is why we are reaching out to those who still want to make a significant impact from afar.
The funds we raise will be donated to buy ambulances and quad bikes for Ukraine. These vehicles are essential for transporting wounded soldiers from the battlefield to medical facilities where they can receive life saving treatment. Each ambulance can make a profound difference, offering a lifeline in the most critical moments.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will help save lives and provide hope to those who are defending their homeland. By supporting this cause, you are standing in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and helping to alleviate the suffering caused by this devastating conflict.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can make a real difference.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Alexandra Baker
