We’re RoomReview, a migrant-led, community-powered platform built to make renting fairer and safer for everyone — especially tenants from underrepresented and diaspora communities.
After our home was robbed — and we realised just how broken the rental system is — we started building a solution.
RoomReview lets you:
- Leave honest reviews about landlords, agencies, and properties
- Get alerts about housing issues in your area
- Find trusted tenant experts
We’re asking for your support to raise £50,000 to:
1. Finalise our MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
2. Launch our pilot in London
3. Provide multilingual access for migrants and refugees
4. Create educational content and outreach materials
5. Start building safer, more connected communities across the UK
How we’ll use your support (£50,000 target):
- £22,000 – MVP Final Development: To complete the first working version of RoomReview with core features.
- £8,000 – Pilot Testing in 2–3 Boroughs: To run real-life testing in selected London areas, gather feedback, and fine-tune the platform for maximum impact.
- £10,000 – Marketing & Outreach (Multilingual): To reach London’s diverse communities through tailored content, ads, and community partnerships
- £5,000 – Platform Hosting & Support (1 Year): To ensure the site runs smoothly, securely, and is accessible 24/7
- £5,000 – Community Engagement: Our goal is to create a safe space for everyone to know they are not alone.
