We are a small not for profit, independent Equine Facilitated Learning centre located between Bristol and Bath. We provide therapeutic horsemanship sessions to children and adults with ASD and additional needs. We offer volunteer and work experience opportunities in the local community.

Our aim is to improve mental, emotional and physical well-being through the interaction with horses. Reducing stress and anxiety, healing trauma, improving concentration & focus, social interactions all while learning new skills & most importantly having fun.

Our service allows children to develop emotional regulation skills by building connected relationships with our horses, helping support them in difficult areas of their life

Up until now we have been pretty self sufficient, however since COVID we have seen an increase in client referrals, to be able to accommodate more clients we are looking to improve our facilities, this includes:

• Setting  up a Paradise Paddock track system for our horses, this will better utilize our grazing land so our horses can lead a more natural lifestyle and create a more stimulating environment for them. The aim is to take away any additional stress do they lead a natural lifestyle and can show up better for our clients

• New equipment for our clients during sessions. Including yard equipment, obstacle course, class room and art supplies etc.

We are looking for £5000 to be able to carry out all the work and purchase the new equipment needed.

The money goes directly to the cause, and by improving our facilities we will be able to accommodate more children who will benefit from our service.
