Who are We?

The London Ethical Cleaning Company is a small business with big dreams to make positive, impactful change.

That's why, all of our staff and operatives are paid at, or above, the London Living Wage, our carefully chosen partners all either follow, or are implementing, our ethical principles and wherever possible we use ethically produced, green and sustainably sourced products.

We’d already made huge steps towards change but now our future is uncertain and that’s why we are asking for your help but before we do we’d like to tell you what we’ll be doing in return.

Our Promise

Giving back is what makes the world go round so if you can help us reach our goal we pledge to provide a one-off free cleaning service, each month, to a different charity or small business in London. 

If you have any suggestions for great causes we could help out once we are back on our feet then please let us know and of course we’ll write regular blogs about our pay it forward, so you can see the real difference your money has made.

So how can you help?

As an ethical company looking after the planet is really important to us so we structured a large part of our business around utilising public transport rather than company vehicles to keep our carbon emissions as low as possible. Sadly, the current situation has meant this is no longer a safe option for us, and those around us. Whilst we are still operating on an emergency basis (providing cleaning to essential services) we have had to drastically limit our regular activities.

None of us can predict how long this will last so we put our heads together and came up with a solution…an electric cargo bike!

This  would allow us to get our team back on the road, safely continuing delivery of our services and cleaning products whilst remaining true to one of our core values - zero emission transport.

We’ve done our research and we’d like to ask for your help to buy a Babboe Pro Trike-E. It is the best option for us, as it can easily and reliably transport a full load of cleaning equipment and materials to any job in London. It will also be used to deliver supplies to our customers, replacing the need for a courier service.

We understand times are hard for everybody at the moment but we would greatly appreciate any help you can give, big or small.
