• My name is vicky jubb I'm the owner of South elmsall family support network and I also have been a domestic violence victim and a sexual assault victim. I know personally how lonely it feels going through it all thinking your alone and have no one to support or tell what your going through always thinking about what's coming next. I am so passionate about this project as I believe people need to feel safe and know there also have support. That is why I have done some research into domestic and sexual assault and found out that there is nothing available in our community and surrounding areas to protect these families from domestic and sexual abuse. The nearest safe zone is barnsley and Bradford but people fleeing dint have access to financial services they just want to get to safety which is why we of South Elmsall family support network are looking at raising money to provide an safe zone here in South Elmsall for our community and surrounding areas should the time come they need a safe place to go. We have so far over 50 families who are either domestic or sexual assault victims are suffering because we don't have a safe zone to help.

The funding will help provide the safe zone with beds showers and a kitchen so families can be found safe accommodation to stay, funding will also help with staffing of the safe zone and security. Our safe zone will have appropriate safeguards applied to ensure that no one is left in danger and can feel safe and secure.

First steps of the project is to raise the money for the flooring to be put done and the bedrooms to be constructed plus bathroom and kitchen.
