Hello! My name is Pavlo and I am from Ukraine.
I was forced to leave my home in Mariupol, Ukraine, with my family under the Homes for Ukraine visa scheme, escaping the devastating impact of war that destroyed our city and threatened our lives. Together with my wife, we have worked hard to rebuild our lives in England.
I hold a higher technical education and have many years of practical experience in the technical field. Despite this, I am currently employed as a manufacturing operative, doing my best to support my family and contribute to society. My wife also works tirelessly, and we both strive to create a stable future for our children.
We have two sons: a 19-year-old university student and a 15-year-old schoolboy. As a family, we are deeply grateful for the safety and opportunities we have found in England, and we are committed to integrating into the community. It is our heartfelt hope to remain here—to live, work, and for our sons to continue their education and pursue their aspirations.
This journey has been one of immense challenge and resilience, but we hold onto hope for a brighter future in our new home.
