We're still collecting donations
On the 19th November 2020 we'd raised £395 with 11 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Help us to get back on track after two weeks closure. Please help support our team members and the business at this very difficult time.

On the 19th November 2020 we'd raised £395 with 11 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
I have set up this crowdfunder after a number of customers got in touch wanting help support Truly's after we had to suddenly close for 2 weeks.
Sadly two of my wonderful little team tested positive for covid in the same weekend which led to us all being required to isolate as mandated by the NHS Track and Trace.
We have worked so hard to survive the 2020 covid rollercoaster. We have already lost 40% of our tables due to social distancing leaving us with just 5 tables and the 10pm curfew saw bookings decline further but having to close for so long is really damaging for us.
There is no government support for businesses that have to close in tier 1 areas and our landlord is no longer willing to support us with reduced rent. We are working as quickly as we can to introduce additional products and services or events but the truth is that the 2 week closure is simply crippling.
Asking our customers, friends and family to support us feels rather uncomfortable so we are offering two ways in which you can support us:
- you can buy a voucher for a future visit and receive an additional 10% on its value
- you can make a donation
All donations will be put towards supporting the team, since they work part time it seems likely they will not be eligible for Statutory Sick Pay plus they have lost their additional income from tips.
Additional income raised from voucher purchases will be used to help us cover the cost of the lost stock and contribute to bills and rent.
