Help to raise money for a school washing machine

Aim: We are hoping to purchase a washing machine for our very busy primary school to help with football strips, outdoor learning equipment, etc.
We have two increasingly more successful football teams who are sharing strips. When games are back to back for a team, children end up playing without a strip as they are still at home being washed. If we had a washing machine, we could wash football strips immediately, meaning no one is feeling left out/ not part of the team. This will also support and ease the pressure on parents to wash strips.
We are also looking to do much more Outdoor Learning in Session 2025/26, therefore a washing machine will be invaluable for keeping uniforms and outdoor learning resources in a clean state.
We also hope to support families by helping to respond to accidents (vomiting etc.) rather than send dirty clothes homes.
Finally, this will be a useful learning tool for pupils, helping them learn every day skills of washing and drying, as well as learning about sustainability, via discussions about water/ energy detergent usage.
