Help to finish our little holiday let complex

Aim: Hi there, we're a family of four that has started on a venture to build a small rustic holiday let complex of 3 rental cabins in East Sussex

Hi there, thank you for reading our project, we truly appreciate it and hope you can be a part of our journey! 

We have been running a really successful holiday let cabin for over 6 years where we live. Before covid we where lucky enough (with a lot of hard work) to obtain planning permission to expand our business to add a further 2 more cabins and extend our already existing cabin around our lovely lake to create a relaxing haven for guests. We love where we live but really wanted to start our adventure to expand our business as we know the great potential it holds, funding at the time would have been a bit too much for us to take on so we decided to sell our residential house and invest the money into our business. This we did back in 2022, we still live on site (squished into a static caravan) as we've been working extremely hard building and developing our plot. It's been a great adventure but we have fallen short of what we need to get finished. Because of inflation, the after effects of Covid, the cost of living crises and increasing interest rates we have found that the money we had calculated just hasn't spread as far as we wanted and has left us short of funds to be able complete everything we need to. Interest rates have hindered us from borrowing as we currently aren't quite open yet to rent and to borrow without a running business is extremely costly. We have pushed forward with help from family and friends which we are eternally grateful too but we still need extra to help us complete our project. We plan to open our existing cabin in May, this cabin has required some extensive work getting it back to perfect and a new decking platform. This will be followed by our amazing second 'floating' cabin a few weeks later, this cabin has taken a lot of time and funds to get it where it is today. We didn't want to settle for basic as quirky is the thing that sets us apart from other holiday lets. Our cabins reflect our beautiful location and make renting them a great experience for our guests. We have fully researched our business and have a full business plan, we have great experience in running a holiday lets and know exactly what guests are after.

If we were to raise the funds needed we would be able to finish the landscaping, furnishings, the start of the construction of a third cabin and to give back to family members and friends who have kindly helped us. There are endless possibilities but these are our priorities to get us nearing completion and back on track building an amazing site.
