I share this appeal on behalf of my small sister Parastoo, 14 years-old Afghan girl who is bright, curios and filled with hope for better education in the future, she is currently in Afghanistan without any education after Tali-ban Take over, and we really hope to help her get access to education in the UK where she can study freely, I am currently a Master student at The Bartlett school of Sustainable Construction, and I will help my sister to come and join me here in the UK to peruse her dream.
If she gets this opportunity she can be an outstanding student. Her previous grades from school demonstrate she has great potential. She is an outstanding mathematician, who has always shown great enthusiasm to solve mathematic problems. During the last semester, before the Taliban took over Afghanistan, she achieved an almost perfect grade average of 39 out of 40. She is also a great athlete and was the best runner in her class. Out of school she also attended a girls’ karate class.
In terms of her English language skills, she has attended several after school English courses even continuing after the Taliban banned school for girls. She is hard working and I know would strive to quickly master English as a second language so she could become a valuable member of the UK school’s community. If Parastoo is given the opportunity to attend school in the UK, I would be close by and would also be available to help and support her. She aspires to become a computer engineer.
We seek to raise 3*£4965 approximately £15000 to help cover three terms school tuition fee.
Whether you help Parastoo or another individual or organization, the important matter is that those of us who are privileged with safety, stability, education and security, share our concern for the welfare of others and do what we can to help. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
We are incredibly grateful for any financial support you can give! And please share this with your networks if you can, to help us reach our goal. Thank you!
