Bombs and gunfire destroyed our house, leaving us homeless and desperate. With nowhere to live and no job to go to, I felt like I was sinking into despair. I have an injury in my foot and it was challenging to get treatment, and I am still in pain. But the pain increases as I think about my wife and children.
I knew I had to find a way to feed my children and wife, but as the war raged around us, job opportunities became scarce. The once-busy streets are now filled with rubble and debris, making it nearly impossible to find a new job.
As I watched my children go hungry, I felt a deep sense of shame and helplessness. I had always prided myself on being able to provide for my family, but now, I was struggling to put food on the table.
In a moment of desperation, I asked a friend for help and managed to gather some food and supplies to feed my family for just a few days, but the future still looked bleak, and I knew that without a steady income, we would continue to suffer.
As I looked at my children, their faces worn and tired from the hardships they had endured, I made a silent promise to do whatever it took to keep them safe and fed. But deep down, I knew that without outside support, our situation would continue to deteriorate.
