Ads Army
For the last 3 years we as team Ad’s Army, have taken part in the Thames Mighty Hike, a marathon walk from Windsor to Henley to raise funds for a well known cancer charity.
This year the walk has been cancelled, but we have recently found out that one of our team, Seb Wylder AKA Pike or Stupid Boy, has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. So, we’ve decided to walk it anyway, to continue our fund raising and also to raise some addition funds for Seb in order to help him ride out this difficult period until he is able return to work.
Many of you know and love Seb as we do, you’ve played rugby with him, drunk with him and know what a thoroughly good egg he is, your support for him would be appreciated more than you know. Please message me here on Facebook for more information about how you can help, donate or get involved.
We’re going to do the walk on Saturday August 29th so training has commenced in earnest. Watch this space!
