My cricketing life began at Temple Cloud Cricket Club in 1976 and I have so much to thank the club for. It has been a community hub for many years before me and until the current day.
So many people have invested a significant amount of their lives, as good and decent people do. So many have selflessly provided a fantastic environment for a huge number of people, young and old, cricketers and supporters. I guess its what communities do. Its what the best of the human race does. It cares for each other.
Temple Cloud cricket club have been given little notice and are relocating to another village (Farmborough) just a few miles away. There is much to do. And there is much needed financial help required.
Anything anyone can do would be hugely appreciated and I can guarantee it would be money well used by people who have one goal in mind. To continue providing a sporting environment for the young to develop within and the club to maintain its reputation of being a respected, competitive senior club.
In essence a club that recognises its purpose. To provide for others...
