Can you help replace our sign and CCTV?

Back in January, much of the UK and Ireland was hit by Storm Eowyn; one of the fiercest storms these parts have seen in decades.

Having taken the severe weather warnings seriously and deciding to stay closed on Friday 24th January to avoid putting any of our customers, staff, volunteers, radio presenters/DJs or delivery drivers at risk, we soon began receiving messages from friends and neighbours letting us know the sign on the front of our premises had fallen victim to the 90mph winds, taking our external CCTV camera with it.

The damage revealed the sign of a previous occupant of our premises and looks like we're now giving out financial advice! Not the case.

Unfortunately, the damage is not covered under our insurance and the quotes for the repair work have exceeded £1000.

As a small, volunteer-run Community Interest Company trying our best to stay afloat for the benefit of a great many people and Glasgow as a whole, poorly-timed "acts of god" such as this present a bit of a problem.

We hate to ask for help, however, we are asking for it now.

• Build a new frame for the sign
  
• Replace the sign
• Paint the wood
  
• Stick up new lettering, 
• Reconnect the camera / electrical work
• Labour costs

However, we never just take without having something to offer in return.
