The Story Behind Ascension Wise

We are Ascension Wise Ltd, and we exist to provide safe, secure housing for vulnerable people in supported living.  We aim to help everyone, from  those living with autism, learning disabilities, brain injuries, and other complex needs to the elderly, children and those in danger of being homeless.

This isn’t just a business for us, it’s a mission from the heart.

Meet Edd & Millie

Edd grew up surrounded by care. His parents ran children’s homes and day centres for people with learning disabilities, so from a young age he was immersed in environments filled with compassion, support, and community. That experience shaped his life.

He went on to coach grassroots youth football, where he was often thanked by parents for the positive impact he had on their children, not just on the pitch, but in life. Alongside that, he is passionate about coaching people living with chronic illness and persistent pain; something he has lived with himself for over 25 years. His driving force? Helping others feel supported and seen.

Millie brings a unique energy to Ascension Wise. Her background is in holistic healing arena and supporting conscious small businesses.  Millie’s deep love for people and property comes from seeing homes as more than just structures, they are places of safety, energy, and healing. Her vision is to raise the standard of housing in supported living and make sure everyone feels not only sheltered but cared for.

Why We're Crowdfunding

Since launching Ascension Wise earlier this year, we have completely self-funded everything, eating through redundancy and personal savings. And it’s working!  We are already making solid connections and partnerships and opening doors.

Our own investment money is just around the corner, but right now, we need a bit of help to get there.

We're asking for your support to bridge the next three months, to keep momentum going, to cover essential costs, and most importantly, to keep creating homes where vulnerable people can thrive.
