2024 is a big election year for the Green Party in Kirklees.
Councillor Andrew Cooper is defending his council seat for the seventh time and we are working hard to win our first seat in Crosland Moor and Netherton Ward with our candidate Alex Vickers.
In addition to our target wards of Newsome and Crosland Moor & Netherton we now have a crucial Parish By Election in the Kirkburton Ward. If our candidate, Andy Scott wins the the Conservatives lose their majority on Kirkburton Parish Council.
We are also seeking to grow our support in the Greenhead Ward with our new candidate Maryam Jawaid.
