As a single parent to two bright girls, I have always encouraged them to stand tall and if they work hard they can be anything they want to be. My daughter has always wanted to be a dentist, from a very young age.
Bright, charismatic and kind, she has worked hard doing work experience in hospitals, dental surgeries and a variety of clinical settings, and this has fired her passion even more to become a dentist.
In September, she has a place to start her studies but the course requires £20,000 per year, which feels like an impossible mountain to climb, especially as it is a five year course.
My daughter has overcome so many obstacles in her life and has really grafted to get this place and I want to help her to reach her dream now she's so close! We left an abusive life with their father, who had PTSD after military service, and I have watched her grow over the last few years into a confident, bright and driven young woman.
If you can help, you will never know how your generosity will have helped a young person reach their dreams. Thank you x
