Little Sushi’s Story – A Voice Waiting to Be Heard
Hi, my name is Sana Khan, and I want to share the story of my 5-year-old son, Sanash Khan, whom we affectionately call Sushi.
Sushi is a bright, kind-hearted, and resilient little boy who loves to stay clean, takes daily showers, and communicates through gestures. However, he faces a heartbreaking challenge every day; he struggles to speak properly due to a tongue-tie issue.
The Struggle
His inability to express himself clearly leads to constant frustration, which has resulted in behavioral difficulties. Recently, he has begun showing symptoms of ADHD, making it even more challenging for him to navigate daily life.
A child specialist has evaluated him and confirmed that he urgently needs surgery to free his tongue, followed by speech and behavioral therapy to help him communicate like other children.
