My friends are in Gaza. Their home has been bombed and destroyed, killing some of their family and leaving them with nowhere safe to stay.

Hello, I am Ryann. I am a health researcher and speech and language therapist in the UK. My very good friend’s family are in increasing danger in Gaza, and I want to help them make their way to safety.

Your previous kind help enabled my friend's immediate family (including his baby girl) to be brought to safety - thank you. We are asking for help again for the rest of his family.

My friend’s family include his sister, Farida, and her husband, Ahmad. They have two beautiful children, Aseer and Lamar. This video shows Aseer and Lamar viewing the destruction of their home.

In addition to their two children, this photo of Ahmad shows him with two of his nephews, who have both become orphaned after their parents were killed, and who are now looked after by Farida and Ahmad. You can see both of his nephews were injured in the attacks: their family home was bombed and destroyed while the family slept at night.

In addition to the mass bereavement and trauma, they have been displaced multiple times. They are in the North, where water, food and healthcare are exceptionally scarce. The whole family are malnourished and in need of urgent support to provide basic necessities and a safe place to stay.

I know there are so many people in need, and so many crowd funders, and would greatly appreciate any support that you are able to give. We are aiming for £20,000 to help rebuild the family home and to provide financial support amidst the extortionate living costs in Gaza.

Thank you,

Ryann x
