Help my cat

My 7 year old cat has had a small fall but as a result has dislocated his hip. He’s had X-rays and has had the hip put back into place but we’ve been told there’s an 88% chance it’ll dislocate again and that he’ll need surgery to remove the hip joint which I am told is the best way to save him. Without the surgery the kindest option is to put him to sleep as he is in a lot of pain. I can’t bare the thought of putting him to sleep. My children (5&3) adore him. He’s the best boy ever and we love him so so much. Please help us get him through surgery and save his life. Thank you x
