Aim: After 8 years of growing Moksa organically, I’m creating a wellness space - a shop, treatment room, workshop space and formulating studio.

Hi, I’m Chloe, founder of Moksa (pronounced mok-sha - a Sanskrit word for inner peace)

I am hoping to raise £18,333 by the 31st July  for the development of four brand new products to add to my natural skincare range, PLUS open a beautiful new wellness space in the heart of Exeter. A space where I can offer the truly sensory experience that Moksa is, a space to share, teach, nourish and glow!

Help Me Create a Moksa Wellness Space in Exeter

After 8 years of bootstrapping Moksa, I’m finally ready to take the next step - and I’d love your help to make it a reality.

My plan is to open a dedicated wellness space in the heart of Exeter - a shop, workshop, studio, treatment room and formulating space all under one roof. A place for natural living, learning and connection.

To get started, I’m raising funds to cover the deposit, hire my first assistant, stock up fully, and create four beautiful new products I’ve been dreaming up for years.

Why This Matters

For longer than I can remember, I’ve dreamed of having a physical space where everything I offer could come together; a sanctuary to make, teach, nurture, offer and share.

This is more than a shop. It’s a space for community, ritual, natural beauty, Ayurveda and mindful living.

It’s the natural evolution of Moksa - and a place to bring what I’ve been building quietly and passionately to life.

My Story

I started Moksa in 2018 after travelling around the world and studying yoga and Ayurveda in India. With no funding, I poured everything I had into growing this brand slowly and consciously.

In that time, I’ve:
• Created a multi award-winning skincare range
• Built a loyal community
• Run every single part of the business myself - from formulating to packing orders to designing the labels and making the tea, and everything in between!

I even turned down a chance to pitch on national TV because I didn’t want to give up part of my business. I believe in growing organically, independently and with heart.

Now it’s time to plant deeper roots.

What Your Support Will Fund

To open the Moksa space, I need to raise £18,333. This will cover:

• 3 months’ rent + deposit – so I can secure the space
• Hiring an assistant – to help me pack, make, serve and support customers
• Stock + ingredients – to fill the shelves with my full range
• Design + development for 4 brand new products – all of which will be revealed during the campaign!
• Shop fit out that might look something like this!!! 

Timeline

July - August: Secure lease + plan fit out
September: Move in, hire assistant + finalise product development
October: Open doors + launch new range
