Aim: To help modernise a small local business that has been at the heart of the weymouth craft community for 30+ years

Hello there, My name is Lindsey walker and i;m the current owner of Craftlines Weymouth based in the Dorset seaside town of Weymouth. The shop has been located in the town for 30+ years and unfortunately in some regards it shows. we hold crocheting classes twice a week to help people learn to crochet or help people that just wish to get back into crocheting, We have many people that come into the shop to seek advice on knitting and many other crafts, Unfortunately we currently lack the space and the facilities to have as many people that want to learn a craft and socialise with other crafters.Since covid crafts in the uk has seen a massive resurgence and i'd like to keep it that way by bringing a more modern touch to an old gem. We encourage all of the local crafters to get involved and show off their crafts in the many themed window displays we have over the year including Pokemon, Star wars, Wallace and Gromit in the hope that it will inspire more people to realise what can be achieved with crafting.
