Help Michelle to do an MSc in Industrial Design

Aim: I'm a disabled designer and inventor who is raising funds to study an MSc in Industrial Design at Loughborough Uni to better myself.

I'm Michelle and I'm looking to raise funds to help me further develop my design skills. I've been studying a BA in Product and Furniture Design at UCA in Canterbury, offer accessibility consultation and run a group for the disabled community in my local area and online called Access, Arts and Adventures.

I'm still missing some skills to reach my end goal. I want to setup an inclusive design social enterprise that also offers access auditing services from a group of individuals with varied disabilities. After much research, the best way for me to further myself would be to study for an MSc.

I've been offered a place on the MSc in Integrated Industrial Design at Loughborough University in Loughborough. I've applied for a few different scholarships but have sadly been turned down. I can get Student Finance to cover either some of the course fees or my living costs, but it doesn't cover it all. There's no other way to fund it other than out of my own pocket, which I really can't afford to do. As many of you know, I'm on a low income due to my disability and complex health conditions. Having my own business would help me work a job that fits around my health needs.

So, I've turned to fundraising. I really need your help to help me to continue my quest to make the world a more inclusive place, to help encourage others like me to chase their dreams and to do the course that will improve my creative practice and help me get to where I need to be.
