Hi everyone!
I appreciate your patience in hearing me out. In the grand scheme of things, with the UK's current state and the world's vast concerns, my situation may seem minor, but it's deeply personal to me. I'm 24 and have just graduated, eager to further my education in Business/Entrepreneurship, a field I'm passionate about and see as pivotal to my future. Despite being accepted into several UK universities, the financial aspect is daunting and I fear having to pass up such an opportunity that I've been looking forward to for a long time.
My journey hasn't been smooth; I discovered I had dyslexia, I've faced mental and physical health challenges that required surgeries, and while I'm grateful they were manageable, more are on the horizon. Yet, these obstacles haven't deterred me. I've worked since I was 17, balancing jobs with my studies, and though I had a student maintenance loan for my undergraduate degree, such support isn't available at the postgraduate level. This means that should I face further health issues during that time, I risk losing a lot. The reality is, the tuition loan covers only a fraction, and I'm left to shoulder the rest, along with living expenses.
I am unable to ask my parents for financial support as they already shoulder other financial burdens. I am actively looking at scholarships too but find that due to their oddly weird criteria, I am often ineligible to receive them. I am not one to ask for help as I take pride in being independent and figuring everything out myself but I greatly value my education and do not want finances to be the reason I am unable to pursue that.
I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who is able or willing to contribute to furthering my education.
Thank you so much for your time.
