Hi there!
I am an 18-year-old student from the UK studying an Education BA. I am a Muslim and in order to study a degree based course in the UK you need to take out a student loan which is an interest-based loan, and interest is Islamically forbidden. With living in a non-Muslim country, it is understandable why a number of Muslims may resort to taking out the loan for university, if you have to, you have to keep in mind not everyone is in the same situation. That being said, I want to do everything I can to avoid it InshAllah (God Willing).
My aim is to become a teacher from this degree and learn about the education system, and through my studies and work aiming to improve the current system for the children of the future.
I do not want to solely rely on donations throughout all of my studies and I am trying to get a job too, in order to help fund my tuition but that is proving difficult due to an ongoing physical condition I have, but I am looking for remote work from home.
I need to have paid 25% of my tuition by the 1st Dec 2021 so hopefully you can all help me get there!
