I am Diki Choden Bhutia, and I hail from Ramthang, North Sikkim, India. I proudly represent the first generation in my family to earn a bachelor's degree, having completed my studies in Psychology at the Queen Mary University of London in 2023. It was only due to the generous charitable deeds of the International Students House that I was able to pursue a bachelor's degree in the UK. I am passionate about helping and supporting people, particularly in mental health and related psychological services. I aspire to become a skilled clinical psychologist to be able to offer psychological services and help people in different communities. Hence, to further my career, I have been accepted into the Theory and Practice in Clinical Psychology with Clinical Placement program at the University of Reading. However, I am seeking financial assistance to make this next step possible. Your support would mean the world to me.
