As a domestic abuse survivor, my journey has been one of reclaiming my identity, rebuilding my voice, and transforming pain into power through my art. Surviving trauma taught me the profound need for understanding, connection, and healing—a need I now channel into creating work that speaks to the invisible struggles so many endure. Through painting, performance, and community engagement, I aim to educate others about the complexities of abuse, empower survivors to feel seen and validated, and provide a space where healing can begin.
As a working-class artist, I've faced significant financial barriers, but I’ve never let them deter my passion for making a difference. Now, I’ve been offered the life-changing opportunity to study Contemporary Art Practice at the Royal College of Art. This is a chance to refine my practice, deepen my impact, and amplify my mission to create art that empowers, educates, heals, and supports others. I’m raising funds to make this dream a reality, and with your support, I can take this vital step to grow as an artist and advocate. Together, we can turn stories of pain into tools for change.
