I am a Neurodiverse mum of two Neurodiverse children. I work part time and raise my babies. We live paycheck to paycheck and life is a struggle. Not just financially but also trying to fit in and find support systems for our Neurodiverse family. I knew things needed to change and the only way that could happen was if I changed them. So I started thinking about what I could do to change life for the better financially for us but also for the Neuro diverse community around us. This is where the Cafe comes in. It came up for sale and I realised I could help us financially by making it a succesfull business but I could also help the community. I would like to take the cafe and create something more then somewhere to just get breakfast or lunch. I would like to implement relationships with the older residents and also the SEN families by doing things like Coffee and Cake natter mornings for Pensioners and SEN friendly dining sessions, where SEN parents do not have to worry about coming out to eat and avoiding it for fear of upsetting other diners. These are two of many of my plans if I manage to complete on the Cafe to make it a community hub. But to do this I need to find the £5000 that I have lost due to a family member now not being able to help who was going to. She is an older relative who is not rich but wanted to help, however her boiler has now broken and her electrics have been condemned so she needs that money, thos leaves me short of the funds needed to purchase the cafe. I have explored all avenues but with a low income in the first place and two dependants I have been unable to source the shortfall so here I am hoping someone out there in a position to help will consider contributing and help me. It is late in the game so I am feeling the pressure from a short time frame too.
