This past June, our neighbours moved away and left behind their sweet little cat, Loki. He’s about two years old and had never been properly cared for—he was always outside, looking sad and often underweight. Despite his rough start, Loki has turned out to be an incredibly shy but affectionate cat.
Since they left, we’ve been taking care of Loki in our garden. At first, he was scared and very thin, but with daily feeding, he’s gained weight and confidence. Now, he even sleeps peacefully on the sun lounger outside our back door every night. As the weather turns colder, we feel it’s time to welcome him inside to join our other pets, Flapjack and Suki.
However, setting Loki up for his new life indoors comes with some unexpected expenses. While we’ve reached out to charities for help, none are able to assist since we both work.
So, we’re kindly asking our friends, family, and neighbors to help us by donating just £5 each. We know times are tough, but if around 80 people can contribute, we’ll be able to cover all of Loki’s immediate needs.
We’re aiming to raise £656, which will cover:
Neutering – £80
Initial vaccinations – £20
Microchipping – £10
1 year of: Vaccinations, De-fleaing, De-worming – £191.88
1 year of: Insurance – £271.08
Cat carrier – £20
Litter tray – £20
Food and water bowls – £10
Total - £622.96
Crowdfunder fee: £36
We’ll take care of everything else going forward.
Thank you so much in advance for helping us give Loki the loving home he deserves!
🐱Anything we raise above this amount will be donated to Cats Protection 🐱
