Right now, the Green Party is the main competition for Conservatives in East Herts. We have 10 Green councillors, covering town, district and county council, and in the last local elections we came second in 15 out of 20 of the wards where we stood. In some cases, a change of just 20 votes would have put us first!
Our councillors work hard for you. With more Green councillors, we can help ensure that your local green spaces are protected, that your children can safely cycle, that the air you breathe is cleaner, and that planning decisions properly consider community and environmental impact.
To help us win, we need to get the message out in newsletters to as many homes as possible. Unlike other parties, to fund our newsletters and posters, we rely almost entirely on donations from people like you. We understand that money is tight for many, and we truly appreciate every donation, no matter how small you may feel it is. Many small donations add up to make a big difference! Raising £2000 would mean we can leaflet every home where we're standing candidates.
