We're still collecting donations

BKS Martial Arts opened its doors at the end of November 2020. Coach Warren Bennet wanted to creat not just a Martial Arts school but a Community, a community for his students to come, learn Martial Art skills and have a safe haven.
Throughout the Pandemic Coach Warren has tried to keep his sessions going through Zoom sessions. This has helped keep some kind of normality for his students in such difficult times. But it hasn’t been easy. BKS hasn’t received any funding and with all gym subscriptions being put on hold. He has had to keep BKS going through his own funds and the little bit of money from the Zoom sessions. By day Warren works at The Nottingham City Hospital in the Cardiology department in electrocardiography and by night he’s working hard in the Gym. This man has helped so many young people of the local community for over 10 years and wants to be able to continue his support and work with our children and provide these services. Last month he appeared on Radio Nottingham for Children’s Mental Health week after a story went viral written by myself about the help that Warren and BKS has given my son who lost his sister 4 years ago in a car accident and has struggled emotionally with anger and upset.
this is why I’m trying to help keep these door open, to everyone. There’s so many stories of how Warren has helped many other students. Please help this organisation to keep on providing a brighter future for our children and adults. It doesn’t matter how small the donation is, every little helps as Tesco says! Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
