Help Jay get to Medical School in the US

Aim: My aim is to put the funding towards tuition fees whilst I study Medicine so that I can focus on my dream of becoming a doctor.

I have been trying to get into Medicine to study as a doctor in the UK since 2019. I have spent a lot of money on extra tutoring, exams and extra qualifications and I have failed to get in each time. Just when I thought I have lost hope I managed to get offered a spot in the US. Coming from a working class family it is almost impossible for me to study here due to the tuition fees. My mum works 40+ hours a week tirelessly and my dad is medically retired due to his poor health. He recently got surgery which we had to do privately and with him not working my mum is working extra hard to make ends meet. It breaks my heart to see him unwell, and me being a sick child with respiratory issues for the majority of my childhood it this is my main driver for wanting to be a doctor, to look after individuals health at it is the richest thing we could own. I have always been so embarrassed to crowdfund, but trying all avenues in the UK to study medicine here so I could get access to bursaries and grants has not worked out for me. I am hoping that one day once I graduate as a doctor that I will return to the UK, work as a trauma and emergency doctor to help those fighting for their life. I volunteered with St John Ambulance for 2 years in hopes this will provide me with valuable experience and I would be devastated for my opportunity to go to waste and would be extremely grateful if anyone could spare some donations for me. I am sorry to ask, but my saving isn’t cutting it for the extreme costs that the US charge students.
