Help Green Party candidates fight this GE in Bucks

Aim: Lets get Green messages out at this general election. We are raising money to help with candidate deposits and publicity in Aylesbury Vale.

Who are we?

We are Aylesbury Vale Green Party and we have a big challenge funding three great candidates in our local constituencies in the general election:

Buckingham and Bletchley (with MK Green Party) – Amanda Onwuemene 

Aylesbury – Julie Atkins (in photo)

Mid Buckinghamshire – Greg Smith (in photo)

Why do we need to raise the money?

 We want to send a message to the Tories about their disgraceful watering down of climate pledges and the appalling state of our environment, also, worryingly, that many people are poorer than when they took office.

Each candidate that stands needs a £500 deposit. We also want to produce a leaflet for each candidate that goes to every home in the constituency so they see our message of Real Hope, Real Change and we will need our funds for that as well.

The Green Party has managed to stand candidates in almost every constituency at this election. This will give everyone a chance to vote Green and will increase our vote share. Not many people know that parties get funding from central government for the number of votes they receive and this can be used to support party MPs. It is particularly important for the Green Party because we do not take funding from corporate donors, unlike other parties.

In addition, if we manage to save our deposits then your local Green Party will get their money back and we can spend it on future campaigns, fighting for the things that matter to you.
