A note from Gabriel
Hi my name is Gabriel, I am currently in my 2nd year studying Creative Advertising at the University of Lincoln. As part of my course, I have the opportunity to go to New York and experience what working in some of the top advertising agencies in the world would look like! A once in a lifetime chance to see where all the biggest and best advertising campaigns are born.
The trip would take me to see some of the top agencies such as Pentagram, Ogilvy, TBWA and Mother, where I would not only have the opportunity to establish connections but also present my own ideas, which has the potential to make my name and work known to them and earn me a job placement when I graduate in 2026.
However, with everything there is a cost involved and sadly this opportunity is no exception.
I have been in Lincoln for 3 years now as I did a foundation year prior to starting my degree. My plan when I moved here was to find part time work and save for this trip but sadly it hasn’t happened! Every week I apply for job after job but very few respond. I know this is a common complaint but can’t help feeling deflated. Having worked so hard to get to this point it is devastating to think I will miss this opportunity.
I am calling out to anyone who has a spare few pounds to help, it all adds up!
